The Liverpool City Region has secured a major boost to its investment and regeneration ambitions after being chosen as the future home of UKREiiF, the UK’s largest real estate, investment and infrastructure event.

From 2028, UKREiiF will relocate to Liverpool Experience Campus, bringing thousands of investors, developers, government representatives, occupiers and built environment leaders to the city region each year.
Since launching in 2022, UKREiiF has become the UK’s leading platform for investment and regeneration, attracting more than 17,000 delegates annually and facilitating over £4 billion of investment and development discussions across the country.
The successful bid was developed through a partnership between Liverpool Experience Campus, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council and Liverpool BID Company, demonstrating a shared commitment to positioning the city region as one of the UK’s most attractive destinations for investment and growth.
The move will provide an unparalleled platform to showcase Liverpool City Region’s transformational regeneration projects, investment opportunities and economic strengths to a national and international audience.
Liverpool Experience Campus offers world-class conference, exhibition and event facilities alongside extensive waterfront event space, providing the scale and flexibility needed to support UKREiiF’s continued growth in the years ahead.
Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram, described the announcement as “a massive win” for the city region and a significant vote of confidence in its ambition, talent and economic potential.
Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, said:
“UKREiiF is the UK’s premier real estate, investment and infrastructure event, and from 2028 it will call Liverpool home. It will bring thousands of investors, developers and decision-makers to our city region, giving them the opportunity to see first-hand the scale of opportunity and ambition that exists here.”
The event is expected to strengthen Liverpool City Region’s position as one of the UK’s leading investment destinations, supporting inward investment, regeneration and long-term economic growth while creating new opportunities for businesses across the region.
Faye Dyer, Chief Executive of Liverpool Experience Campus, said the move reflects UKREiiF’s continued growth and ambition, adding that Liverpool provides the infrastructure, flexibility and capacity required to support the next phase of the event’s development.
Nathan Spencer, Co-Founder and Managing Director of UKREiiF, said Liverpool City’s Region’s partnership-led approach, combined with the quality of the venue and the region’s growth ambitions, made it the ideal location for the event’s next chapter.
Further details of the 2028 UKREiiF programme will be announced in due course.
