8am – 9am – Liverpool Welcome
Start the day with an informal networking breakfast as we open the stand and introduce you to the leaders of Liverpool City Region.
9am – 9.45am – Funding the future
Funding the Future puts the Liverpool City Region’s new Investment Fund centre stage. Meet the funders and get clear on the projects, places and partnerships they want to support. This session cuts through the detail to focus on what matters: how the fund will operate, what a strong investment proposition looks like, and how partners can engage as the fund moves from launch to live opportunities.
10am – 10.45am – This must be the place
Place-based power is no longer a strategy – it’s a movement. This session looks at how culture is shaping identity, driving confidence and attracting investment into towns and cities. Through headline projects and emerging approaches, discover what happens when culture leads, and how it can deliver impact that goes beyond bricks and mortar.
2pm – 2.15pm – Places for people
From retail to real life. This session explores how town centres are being reimagined as hubs for community, culture and connection – places shaped by people, not footfall. It looks at how everyday uses, civic life and local identity are redefining the role of town centres, creating places that feel active, welcoming and relevant.
3pm – 4pm – The City Region snapshot
One city region. One pitch. Six voices. A high-tempo showcase of the Liverpool City Region’s ambition and momentum. Each borough delivers a sharp snapshot – one standout project, one people- or culture-led story and one signal of what’s coming next. Fast, focused and collective, this session shows how six distinct places come together as a single, powerful proposition on a regional stage.
4pm – 6pm – The City Region social
Building on the day’s conversations, The City Region Social is where insight turns into opportunity. This informal reception brings together funders, civic leaders and delivery partners to continue the conversations sparked on stage – exploring live opportunities, emerging partnerships and next steps across the Liverpool City Region.
Whether you’re looking to invest, collaborate or shape what comes next, this is the place to connect.

9am – 9.45am – Front door to the future
Homes First. Places that Work.
Following the Mayoral Development Corporation update at MIPIM, this national session explores how MDCs are putting homes first. It looks at how new powers, growing institutional interest and recent national signals are aligning to unlock sites, accelerate delivery and create neighbourhoods designed for everyday life – moving from vision to front doors.
10am – 10.45am – Tracks to transformation
Transport does more than connect places, it shapes them. This session explores how strategic transport investment is driving the growth of innovation corridors across the UK, unlocking new clusters of jobs, homes and ideas. From rapid transit to rail and active travel, hear how connectivity is being used to bring institutions, industries and communities closer together, creating corridors that attract talent, accelerate growth and deliver long-term value.
2pm – 2.45pm – Future Impact Board
More information coming soon.
2.45pm – 3.30pm – The corridor effect
Innovation doesn’t thrive in isolation; it scales through connection. This session brings together leaders from nationally significant innovation districts, global research institutions and industry, to explore how the UK’s innovation corridors can work better together. Focusing on the role of place, partnership and connectivity, the discussion looks at how linking clusters in life sciences, technology and advanced research can accelerate growth, attract investment and strengthen the UK’s global competitiveness.
3.30pm – 4pm – The Industrial Strategy Zone in action
A fast-paced showcase of the Liverpool City Region’s Industrial Strategy Zone in delivery. Featuring flagship schemes including Violet Phase 2 and Parkside, alongside wider activity, this session highlights how strategy is turning into sites, momentum and opportunity on the ground.
